After weeks of excitement and last minute of excitement of voting for the favorite candidate, Chennai resident Anand Aravindakshan was announced as the winner of the Vijay TV show ‘Super Singer 5’ on Friday night at DB Jain College, Thoraipakkam in Chennai. Movie theme ringtones free. Update: The finalists of the show were Faridha, Rajaganapathy, Siyad, Anand Aravindakshan and Lakshmi Pradeep.
Faridha, Rajaganapathy and Siyad were direct finalists, while Anand Aravindakshan and Lakshmi Pradeep were wild-card entrants. All the five had to go through two rounds with musician and composer Stephen Devassy. Music composer Santhosh Narayanan has promised Anand and Faridha that they will be given a chance to sing in his upcoming project. Anand Aravindakshan was awarded an apartment worth Rs 70 lakh and Faridha was awarded Rs 10 lakh.
Rajaganapathy G won the Judges’ Choice of the day Award and was also announced as the second runner-up. Singers Srinivas and Unnikrishnan were the judges on the show.
